The Legendary Bastard: Agarwood is a fragrant dark resinous wood used in incense, perfume, and small carvings. It is formed in the heartwood of aquilaria trees when they become infected with a type of mold (Phialophora parasitica). Prior to infection, the heartwood is odourless, relatively light and pale coloured however, as the infection progresses, the tree produces a dark aromatic resin, in response to the attack, which results in a very dense, dark, resin-embedded heartwood. The resin-embedded wood is valued in Arabic-middle eastern culture for its distinctive fragrance, and thus is used for incense and perfumes.
Poseidon: I'm pretty sure if the Greek GOD Poseidon had an aroma this would be it!! Top Note: Ambrette oil that wraps the fragrance with an aura of sophistication. Middle Note: Sea Salt Fragrance brings both texture and a sense of freshness. Base Note: Sage Woody with earthy, aromatic tones that bring a natural depth. Topping this all off with a hint of vanilla & OUD Agar Wood.
